Just pleasant short walk from Tremona lies an archeological park. You can literally touch and walk through the rests of medieval settlement.
The position of the settlement was strategical as it lays on top of the hill. The views are pretty impressive. You can easily see Milan from there.(not on this picture unfortunately)
The excavation works are not done yet and we could watch the archeologist and volunteers hard and precise work.
Even though we picked and ate quite a bit of blackberries on our way back we were still hungry and went for lunch to nearby Grotto Grassi. Please check next post to find out how we liked it. (spoiler alert: we loved it!)
